In the construction and operation of power systems, the accuracy of transformer turns ratio and winding group is directly related to grid connection safety and system stability. With continuous growth in power grid investment and an increasing number of equipment, traditional manual ratio bridge testing is inefficient, complex to operate, and provides non-intuitive results, making it difficult to meet the current demands for "high efficiency, fewer personnel, and strong standardization" in production and operation. Fully automatic turns ratio and winding group testers have therefore become essential testing equipment for substations, installation and commissioning units, and equipment manufacturers.
Both the ZX-BC and ZX-BC1 fully automatic turns ratio and winding group testers can perform turns ratio, winding group, and polarity testing for three-phase transformers, single-phase transformers, PTs, and CTs. They also support blind testing, automatically determining results even with unknown wiring configurations, significantly reducing the risk of misjudgment and rework, making them particularly suitable for field personnel.
From an application perspective, the ZX-BC is more focused on field inspection and mobile operations. The instrument has a built-in lithium battery and can also be powered by AC 220V. A single charge can complete testing on more than 100 transformers, making it suitable for daily pre-testing, maintenance, and outdoor emergency repairs in substations. The 6-inch high-brightness color screen remains clear even in strong sunlight, and supports on-device and USB storage, as well as thermal printing, providing convenient and fast data management.
The ZX-BC1 emphasizes testing stability and precision. It uses a full three-phase sinusoidal inverter power supply, supports soft start and soft stop, and offers fast testing speed and high accuracy. It supports up to 197 tap positions and has a single-phase angle difference testing function, making it more suitable for transformer manufacturers, laboratories, and scenarios requiring high testing consistency.

In summary, fully automatic transformer ratio and group testing instruments have become fundamental tools for ensuring the safe operation of transformers. End users can select the most suitable model based on site frequency, accuracy requirements, and power supply conditions to achieve efficient, standardized, and reliable testing operations.
